Tekrite designs professional full-featured online help systems for integration into software applications (though we also develop freestanding information systems). We can create standard Windows Help (WinHelp), Microsoft HTML Help, and cross-platform HTML-based help systems (WebHelp). Your help system can adhere to industry standards or be customised to match the color and character of your product. Either way, a Tekrite help system will put the information your users need close at hand.

Online help can be delivered in the following formats:

  • Classic WinHelp (Windows 95 help) - even though WinHelp has now been superceded, it is still a popular option.
  • WinHelp 2000 - provides all the functionality of Classic WinHelp with a much improved single-split window interface.
  • HTML Help - compiled .chm file that runs in a help window. Currently the industry standard help system for the Windows platform.
  • WebHelp - true HTML help that can be viewed on both Windows and non-Windows systems.
  • JavaHelp - designed specifically to work with applications written in the JAVA programming language
  • MShelp2 - Microsoft's next generation help format, currently due for release sometime this year
